Maarten Delobel is a documentary and portrait photographer based in Berlin and Amsterdam (1983). He holds a master in Sociology and works on freelance base for various clients. In 2015 he took off photography capturing news for Vice and evolved from photojournalism into documentary photography.

His documentary work is characterized by an interest in public space and the constant battle between the users of the public domain. Maarten is published amongst others at Vice, de Volkskrant, NRC, Monopol, Fisheye Magazine, Trax Magazine, ZOOM, Dominicus.
